Busitrix Engage ("we", "our", "us") is a service that allows businesses to connect their Instagram professional accounts and automate replies to comments and direct messages. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

2. Information We Collect

When you connect your Instagram account, we collect:

Your Instagram Business/Creator account username and account ID
An access token issued by Instagram, used to act on your behalf
Comments and direct messages sent to your connected account, solely to evaluate and respond to automation rules you configure
Basic account metadata (e.g. connection date, account status)

3. How We Use Your Information

To detect comments or messages matching automation rules you create
To send automated replies (via DM or public comment reply) on your behalf, as configured by you
To maintain logs of automation activity for your own review inside the dashboard

We do not use your Instagram data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We only share data with Meta/Instagram's own APIs as required to deliver the automation features you configure. We do not share your data with any other third party.

5. Data Retention

We retain your access token and account data for as long as your Instagram account remains connected. If you disconnect your account, we delete the stored access token immediately. Automation logs may be retained for a limited period for troubleshooting purposes.

6. Your Controls

You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from your dashboard, which immediately revokes our access. You may also revoke access directly from Instagram's own Settings → Apps and Websites page.

7. Security

Access tokens are stored securely and are never exposed in client-facing responses. We use industry-standard practices to protect stored data from unauthorized access.
